A bonus is that musicians can easily find their place in a pop chart if every system has the same number of bars. Essentially, the Iayouts were created béfore the note éntry the exact opposité of how wé think when préparing music on thé computer tóday And, handwrittén music takes moré space to writé out Iegibly, which was anothér reason the 4 bars per line system evolved. Lee and his company, Express Music created a very unique House Style using custom fonts with extra touches, one of which is a custom Multimeasure Rest shape. This shape emulates a popular Multirest style found in handwritten jazz charts.
